Age of Conan at Ten Ton Hammer - Taking MMOG Gamers to the Next Level!

Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures (AoC) Game Director Craig Morrison has just released a new "Letter from the Game Director" to talk about what's coming up for AoC. As work continues simultaneously on the "Rise of the Godslayer" expansion pack and the the 1.06 update, Craig took some time to talk about a few changes that the team is working on in preparation for the "Alternate Advancement" mechanic set to go live with the expansion.

The next major update to the character development system will be in the form of the Alternate Advancement system that comes with the expansion. That said, we are looking at a few areas where we can make some minor adjustments prior to the alternate advancement system. In the course of the 1.06 series we will be making a series of changes based on the balance concerns surrounding the balance between melee users and casters, in particular on two areas – crowd control and stamina usage.
