The holiday season of Frostfell is coming to Norrath once again. The seasonal event is set to kick off in EverQuest 2 starting on December 10th, 2009, and will run through January 7th, 2010. During the event players can take part in a number of festive events, quests, and earn lots of seasonal prizes.

Frostfell is a Deepice celebration whose origins are shrouded in mystery. It is widely thought that the festival was started by a demigod who hid gifts of food and other goodies for the citizens of Norrath. No one knows when the tradition first began; it could have been during the Lost Ages when all of Norrath was shrouded in a curse laid by the gods.
