MixMaster Online Launch Screenshots and Art

Posted May 16th, 2007 by Cody Bye

MixMaster Online, an anime-styled MMORPG where blending monster-pets together is the trademark of the game, is set for release this Friday. The game, which is solidly aimed at the teenage marketplace, looks like it could provide hours of Hench creating fun. Ten Ton Hammer has picked up the press release and several of the screenshots for your reading and viewing pleasure - both of which can be seen below.

MixMaster Online will be starting its official commercial service for its English version on Friday May 18, 2007. MixMaster has enjoyed huge success globally and currently has over 6 million registered users worldwide. The creators of the first English version, SeedC Pacific, will be looking to increase this number and create a huge in-game community by releasing the brand new feature of MixMall as well as more in game content.

The major upgrades for the commercial version are:
  • the addition of cash item shop, MixMall,
  • addition of Premium Zone maps,
  • addition of new dungeons,
  • implementation of 2nd class skills,
  • increase over 150 items and
  • increase over 100 monsters.
To promote the usage of the Premium Zone, MixMaster Game Masters have organised a special in game event for the grand opening of the Premium Zone. In this unique event, Premium Zone monsters will drop 3 unusual items. These items have special effects, one leads the users to a secret dungeon, another can be sold for a significant amount of in game money and the last item has an undisclosed effect.

“We hope the special items will tease the users about the Premium Zone… in a good way,” said Takuya Matsunaga, Chief Operating Officer of SeedC Pacific. “Although all users can continue to enjoy the game as it is, the Premium Zone is a great extension which will add a new dimension to the game. We chose the items carefully so all users can enjoy it. The secret item is great. I’m sure all users will be very happy when they get this!”

“Although we are starting cash item sales, we want to point out that the game is still enjoyable for free. And as most of our users have asked, we will not be selling any monsters and the best weapons are not sold either,” Jin Joo, Project Manager of MixMaster added. “There will be weapons sold but they are primarily to change appearance more than to be an effective weapon. The cash items will accelerate players to be stronger but it will not make them automatically stronger. We will make sure free gamers will continue to enjoy the game.”

SeedC Pacific will continue to work on the game. They are planning to sustain a continual frequent update of MixMaster. Their plan is to make MixMaster a game that a user can enjoy up to 3 years.
