Maybe or maybe not, but I certainly enjoyed this little bit of information. A player on the Aion official forums took the time to count how many players were online on their server across various times. While these counts don't include players who are invisible, and it really isn't a foolproof way of tallying players, it does present an interesting peek into the game's overall health.

server Lumiel (Elyos) Date Jan 1st

time 1pm(hawaii time zone) 986 players

time 2pm(hawaii time zone) 1136 players

time 3pm (hawaii time zone) 1272 players

time 6pm(hawaii time zone) 1387 players

tim 7pm(hawaii time zone) 1403 players

time 8pm(hawaii time zone) 1411 players

time 11:45pm(hawaii time) 583 players

If this same idea holds true for other servers, it could indicate that Aion has approximately 30k concurrent players during peak days. As a reference, a game like EVE Online averages about that many on their global server.
