You might remember Hellgate: London from the now defunct Flagship Studios. The game's online support was shelved when the company when the company closed its doors, but the title has been acquired by HanbitSoft and they intend to reintroduce the game to the world, including here in North America. Through a deal with with NAMCO BANDAI Games, HabitSoft has acquired the worldwide publishing rights for the Hellgate franchise. The game will launch overseas in 2010, starting in China, Taiwan, and other parts of Asia and will be followed by launches in North America, Europe, and Japan.

HanbitSoft Inc., announced today that the company has obtained the publishing rights for Hellgate in North America, Europe and Japan from NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc.. HanbitSoft and NAMCO BANDAI Games America, the formal owner of the publishing rights in these regions, have entered into an agreement for the game to be distributed by HanbitSoft in the future.
