Cryptic Studios has teamed up with the SyFy Channel to bring yet another special pre-order offer for Star Trek Online. The SyFy offer includes an in-game item called the Neodymium Deflector Dish, an item that will grant a boost to ship auxiliary power, maneuverability, and science abilities. Also included in the offer are 500 Cryptic Points, which can be used in the Cryptic store and a 15% discount for your next purchase at the Syfy store.

As part of Cryptic's deal with SyFy, a Star Trek marathon will air on February 1st and 2nd. Star Trek: Enterprise will be showing on SyFy Monday, February 1st, from 8:00am EST to 5:00pm EST and a marathon of Star Trek: The Next Generation will follow on launch day, Tuesday, February 2nd, from 8:00am EST to 9:00pm EST, so enjoy the marathon as you play through the head start and into launch.
