ANNOUNCEMENT FROM UPPER DECK INTERNATIONAL

Over the past few months there has been much speculation about the future of the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game and Miniatures Game and due to ongoing discussions, we haven’t been able to provide any clear answers until now.

After long and careful deliberation, Upper Deck International (UDI) will not be renewing its World of Warcraft license agreements with Blizzard Entertainment. We’ve had a fantastic time working on the World of Warcraft brand and feel we have produced some of the most compelling TCG and Miniatures Game products since the turn of the century. Unfortunately, due to gradually declining sales over the past few years and the overall downturn in the economic climate, we have had to make the tough decision to discontinue our World of Warcraft product lines.

UDI World of Warcraft products will be available until the end of March. Upcoming products such as the Class Starter Deck, Wrathgate Booster, Souls of Vengeance Starter, Deluxe Starter and Booster will not go into production.

We know this is disappointing news for all World of Warcraft fans and want to thank players and retailers for their ongoing support over the years. Being part of such a great and passionate community has truly been a privilege.

We are currently working with Blizzard Entertainment to facilitate a smooth transition as they work on their own plans for a World of Warcraft Trading Card Game. Further announcements on this transition will follow over the coming weeks.

We will be pulling out all the stops to send off the UDI World of Warcraft lines in style. Look out for special events at your local gaming store with some of the greatest prize support ever and a final opportunity to complete your collection.

Looks as though it is official now that Upper Deck will no longer be producing World of Warcraft: TCG trading cards. Since the production will cease as of the end of March, Blizzard hopefully is close to naming a successor to the franchise.

Upper Deck has been producing WoW TCG since October, 2006 and has shepherded the game into a major player on the card gaming scene. The relationship between Blizzard and Upper Deck in terms of development of the game has always been somewhat nebulous, but hopefully whoever takes up the TCG franchise next can maintain the same high standards of quality and innovation.

TCG has always been remarkable for the fantastic synergies that it maintained with the online game component of World of Warcraft with cards yielding codes that can be turned in online for in game swag like mounts and items.

We'll keep our fingers crossed that the transition to a new license is smooth. For TCG enthusiasts: keep in mind that some rare and desirable cards like the Spectral Tiger may be going into extinction, so purchase accordingly!

We will keep you updated as more details roll in and a new license is announced.

Mists of Pandaria -- Pandaren Monk Striking Target Dummy

There have been many rumblings from Blizzard fans that don't really want Mists of Pandaria as the next (or any expansion) and ask the question "Why Mop?"

Mists of Pandaria's launch could happen by the end of the year so what better time to look at what the Collector's Edition could contain?

I finally got myself a Razor Naga (Molten Edition)!

About a year ago, I really wanted a naga mouse for my birthday. However, my girlfriend goes to BestBuy and the jerk working there tells her that I wouldn't like the naga because its too hard to push the buttons on the side. He told her to get me the World of Warcraft mouse (Cataclysm Edition).
