Gnomish scribes and goblin designers are hard at work putting together the second epic issue of the World of Warcraft Official Magazine, but you can still receive Issue #1 as part of your subscription if you order before February 28. After that, your only recourse will be to head to the Caverns of Time and hope the bronze dragonflight lets you travel into the past to tell your former self what your future self will be missing out on.

The premiere issue includes a look at the lore surrounding Icecrown Citadel, interviews with the developers on the upcoming Cataclysm expansion, profiles of pet collectors and Arena champs, expert advice from top raiding guilds and PvPers, and much more.

For more info, including a whopping 40-page preview of some of the features in the inaugural issue, head over to www.worldofwarcraftthemagazine.com.

The magazine can be purchased in 1 or 2 year subscriptions that cost $39.95 and $69.95 USD respectively. With this you'll get four World of Warcraft Mag issues per year.

It's worth taking a look at the preview page, the production quality is really something else and there's something in there for everyone. Everything from the history of World of Warcraft, to insights into lore that aren't even available in game, to interviews with raiders and gladiators is included in the pages of each issue.

If you're considering it make sure to take note of the fact that if you subscribe by the 28th you'll still recieve the first issue of the magazine. After that it may become pretty difficult to find.
