Now that the Lich King has been defeated on normal mode in Icecrown Citadel, the player base has moved into attempting Heroic modes on the bosses in the Citadel. For players that found some of the early bosses easy, moving up to heroic mode is no joke, the bosses get much harder and provide more of a challenge. While some of the early bosses do not change significantly, the extra incoming damage and boss health is enough to cause serious issues.

The biggest change to the Festergut fight is that Professor Putricide gets involved in it. Roughly every 30 seconds he will throw a Malleable Goo into the fight. This does big damage if it hits the player and slows them down greatly for 15 seconds, the same as it would in the Professor Putricide fight. Players need to watch for who is targeted and ensure they get out of the way.
