Apparently the latest issue of PC Gamer UK has released some previously unknown details about the upcoming
World of Warcraft: Cataclysm expansion. There are rumors about the major plotlines in Cataclysm, as well as details about the group and raid instances that will be available at launch.

MMO-Champion got the details on the article:

Warchief of the Horde

  • Thrall will become the next Guardian of Tirisfal. However, Thrall will merely 'leave Garrosh in charge' though this does not stop Garrosh from declaring war on the Alliance and fortifying Horde outposts and cities.

Inner-Horde relations

  • After assuming command of the Horde, Garrosh labels Cairne a traitor and executes the Tauren Leader. However, this does not seem to be the end of his involvement in Cataclysm and his seeming demise is linked to the greener, lusher Desolace.
  • Garrosh will throw out most of the Blood Elves and Forsaken from Orgrimmar.

Deepholme

  • It is possible that the Alliance and Horde will be involved in a major battle within Deepholm.
  • Airships will battle in the gigantic caverns al a Icecrown style.
  • The area will also cater for flying mounts.

Raids and Dungeons

  • Cataclysm will ship with 8 Heroic Dungeons (not including Deadmines and Shadowfang) and 4 Raid encounters.
  • The Skywall will contain a raid with Al'Akir as the end boss.
  • Grim Batol and Uldum raid will patched in post-launch.

Other

  • Harrison Jones has returned with his friends and is linked to the Archaeology profession.
  • One of the new features included in the guild interface/mechanics system is a Looking For Guild function.

Blizzard always said that they would come back and use Grim Batol (the Red Dragonflight stronghold in the southern area of the Wetlands zone) and Uldum (another Titan facility, similar to Ulduar) -- but those areas had gone unused for so long that many assumed that those plotlines would simply go unresolved.

At BlizzCon 2009 Deepholme was announced as a level 81-83 dungeon, presumably 5 player. If this area turns into a major plotline with an epic clash between Horde and Alliance who knows what it might turn into. I know I'm not alone in drooling at the prospect of a gunship vs gunship style battleground replete with rocketpacks and all that good stuff.

An automated 'Looking for Guild' system was mentioned in the past as a possibility. If done right this could be a really great tool for players trying to join, start, or fill a guild. I would assume that a system like this would allow one to search for players based on experience (possibly achievements?), gear, and availability. Searching trade chat or the realm forums often just doesn't cut it, forcing players to use unofficial means of recruiting like WoWProgress.com to find players that fit their specifications. An official means of doing this would definitely be appreciated.
