Today Blizzard released a $25 mount in their pet store, the Celestial Steed. Currently, as we publish this, the queue to buy such an epic mount is over 160,000 users and climbing. Is the mount worth the $25? What is the communities reaction so far? How will the industry react to Blizzard's take on microtransactions? All of these questions are answered in our latest look at Blizzard's Celestial Cash Cow.

Of course, none of these things are as awesome as a glowing mountable pony, but are vastly cheaper. I see the price as being a bit higher than necessary. Maybe $20 would have been a better price point, but something is really only worth what others are willing to pay. Over 160,000 people have given up their cash on the first day so we’re to presume that a lot of members of the community are happy with the price.

Blizzard's Celestial Cash Cow is here to answer your myriad of questions regarding this new mount.
