Right now there is a palatable slowing down in the World of Warcraft. Players are left struggling to find something to do, and many players are taking a break from the game until the next expansion, Cataclysm, launches sometime later this year (hopefully). Is it really all that bad though, is there really nothing left to do in the game if you have beat Icecrown Citadel? Our very own Byron “Messiah” Mudry takes a look at the current game and makes a number of suggestions about things you can do so you don’t need to be popping caffeine pills to stay awake in the game.

Usually one of the big things is to level any new character that you want to use for the next cycle if you are bored with your main. This is still a decent idea as new characters bring new challenges, learning, excitement, and knowledge. However, since Cataclysm is going to shuffle so much of Azeroth around, levelling another character from level 1 may not be in your best interest. You might be better waiting so that you can either try out a new race while doing it, or just to work through the reworked world and the promised better quest layout coming.

Check it all out in Must Stay Awake… – Holding Off the Boredom Waiting on Cataclysm.
