Craig Zinkievich Steps Down as STO Executive Producer

Posted Fri, Jul 02, 2010 by Martuk

Star Trek Online (STO) Executive Producer Craig Zinkievich has bowed out of his position with the STO team, leaving Daniel Stahl as his successor. In an announcement titled "What You Leave Behind", ironically the name of the final episode of the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine television series, Zinkievich cited his reasons for leaving to spend more time with his family, to walk his goat and to take care of his bees. Let's just hope he doesn't end up like Henry Winkler in Little Nicky.

Zinkievich leaves the STO project in Daniel Stahl's hands and bows out with praise to the ability of both Stahl and the STO development team and their ability to keep true to the STO vision. We wish Zinkievich the best in whatever path he pursues in the future, even if it is simply demanding playable Horta on the STO forums
