It's an almost certainty this day and age that any IP that does well will likely find itself on the MMOG concept or development table. So it should come as no surprise that the Transformers are making their way into the MMOG gaming space with Transformers Online. Chinese developer NetDragon has entered into a licensing agreement with Hasbro to transcend the battle between the Autobots and Decepticons to the MMOG realm in Asia, Russia/CIS and MENA (Middle East and North Africa). Transformers Online is expected to roll out in 2011.

("NetDragon"; Stock Code: 777), a leading online game developer and innovator in China, today announced that it has entered a brand licensing agreement with Hasbro, Inc., a worldwide leader in children's and family leisure time products and services, for the exclusive rights to develop and publish in Asia, Russia/CIS and MENA an MMORPG based on Hasbro’s iconic TRANSFORMERS brand. The action-oriented PC online game ”TRANSFORMERS Online” is expected to officially roll-out in 2011 in China as well as other select markets in Asia, MENA and Russia/CIS.
