Paragon Studios surprised City of Heroes fans yesterday by deploying Issue 18: Shades of Gray and the Going Rogue expansion to live servers in preparation for today's official launch.

Going Rogue introduces a host of new features and the city of Praetoria, ruled by Emperor Marcus Cole. But not everyone is happy with the peaceful utopia that Cole has created. Personal liberties have been shunned to help make the populace more docile. This is one of the key features of Going Rogue. You will have to choose whether to aid the Resistance or be a loyalist and support Cole. Luckily, you can always change your mind later.

City of Heroes: Going Rogue is available for $29.99 via the NCsoft Store and includes two new power sets, the world of Praetoria, and the new Moral Choice system.
