Success can be measured in many ways in World of Warcraft, but few of them offer a way to measure everything fairly. You can judge by gear alone, but that takes way too much time and doesn't really tell you all that much about what another player is like beyond the bosses they may have helped defeat. You can use websites that add the “ilvl” (item level) of all of a character’s gear together but that can be inflated and bad gear can be used to “rig the system.” You can use addons that tell you a general “score” but offer little else.
We here at Ten Ton Hammer understand the need to be able to measure yourself against the 30 million+ other characters out there and to have something a bit more in-depth than a single number to go by. That’s why we’ve developed PlayerScore, the all new way to rank and score World of Warcraft characters that everyone has been talking about.
PlayerScore takes in both stats and skill and merges it into one resource that allows you to rank and score characters. However, PlayerScore doesn’t simply take gear stats into account. It goes far beyond the norm by tracking a character’s achievements, crafting, PvE, and PvP ability in addition to actual ratings given by other players. After all, is it even possible for a single number to determine if a player is amazing or complete fail?
You could have the worst gear in the game but be a really amazing and sociable player while others could have the best gear in the game and not know very much about what they’re doing. PlayerScore gives players the ability to rate each other and give honest feedback on various traits of other characters. All of this is available both in game and on the PlayerScore website here on the Ten Ton Hammer network.
We also like to compare ourselves to other players, something that’s very difficult to do in such an expansive game. PlayerScore allows you to compare a character to others not only on the same sever, but globally as well. Watch as you climb the rankings as your gear improves and you achieve more in the game. Know instantly if someone is really the best on the server or if they’re bluffing.
PlayerScore is the entirely new way to score, rank, and rate players in World of Warcraft, and it’s all available for free right here at Ten Ton Hammer. Get started now by viewing the official PlayerScore website and see what everyone is talking about. Once there be sure to download the optional addon and read over the FAQ.
