Game Director Craig 'Silirrion' Morrison has laid out the path ahead for Age of Conan (AoC) in a recent update to the community. After an extensive review of player surveys, Funcom released a 21 page PDF with a summary of the survey results along with their plans for future AoC content. The next update, 2.1, may be released in phases over this fall and will include new PvP, PvE, Raid, and social and guild content. PvP players will be getting a new mini-game, likely a 12vs12 map, and a few tweaks to progression in PvP mini-games.

New PvE content is also on the way two new districts of the imperial capital of Pai Kang will be opened. New Tier 4 raiding encounters will also be released, including the final instance for Khitai.

Social and Guild content also have some stuff incoming with new NPCs that will offer specific guild social events, allowing players to hold their own guild events like treasure hunting, storytelling competitions, and a demon hunt.

There's more in the works and Morrison explains some of the plans beyond the next update.
