Aion's first free major content expansion is set to launch on September 7th with Assault on Balaurea and NCsoft has revealed two video previews of new areas slated to go live with the new expansion. The first video previews Inggison, the Elyos foothold in Balaurea, and is filled with aggressive wildlife and plants not found in Atreia. But the Elyos must also contend with threats posed by the Asmodians and Balaur-worshippers.

The second video previews Gelkmaros, an area claimed by the opposing Asmodian faction. The Asmodians have established a stronghold in Gelkmaros to strike against the Balaur. Don't be fooled by the bright colors of Gelkmaros, it's every bit as hostile as Inggison. Like the Elyos, the Asmodians have a score to settle with the Balaur and Gelkmaros provides them with a staging ground to attack.
