Few MMORPGs have managed to hang around as long as the original EverQuest (EQ) and maintain a fairly high level of players after more than 10 years of operation. But there is something special about EQ that just keeps players coming back for more and Sony Online Entertainment hasn't slowed down production of new content for the popular MMORPG. October 12th will mark the launch of the game's 17th expansion, House of Thule.

Pre-orders are now available via the Station Store with the Standard Edition digital download costing $39.99 and the Collector's Edition packed with a slew of in-game items costing $69.99. However, if you order the Collector's Edition on or after October 12th, 2010 it will cost you quite a bit more at $89.99, so if you intend to buy it, I would do so before that date. Check out what features are available for each here.
