Rappelz may make you want to jump off a cliff...

Continuing his series of free to play MMORPGs, Cody "Micajah" Bye takes on one of gPotato's long list of cross-Pacific transplants, Rappelz. Boasting beautiful anime-inspired character models and otherworldly settings, Rappelz is one of the best looking f2p fantasy MMOGs we've seen. But how does it play? Read Cody's review to find out!

"Originally attracted by Rappelz's strange name – cliff descending anyone? – I soon fell in love with the world I saw in the screenshots provided on the website. Here was a style of art that was appealing, a combination of anime-cartoonishness and realistic human figures. Mounts and pets were an added bonus, so the game was quickly installed on my computer and I fired it up to see what the gpotato's world consisted of."

Japan is still recovering from the disaster that ravaged the country earlier this month, but game developers and publishers have been doing their part to aid in the country's recovery. With donations from Square Enix and a PLEX for Good: Japan drive underway by CCP, Gala Networks Europe recently stepped forward to lend their aid to the recovery efforts. Starting today, players of Rappelz and Flyff can purchase special charity items in the cash shop with proceeds going to the Red Cross. Terra Militaris and Castle of Heroes will have their chance to do the same next week. Check out the official press release after the break for more.
