The testing phase has ended for EverQuest II Extended (EQ2X). Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) officially lifted the beta seal today sending the new free-to-play EQ2X into its official launch. To celebrate the launch, SOE is giving players an in-game gift that can be claimed via the Marketplace. The item, Staff of the Rising Phoenix, is a cosmetic item that depicts a phoenix engulfed in glowing flames. But it will only be available for a limited time, so be sure to claim yours before 11:59 pm PDT on Sunday, October 3rd.
