In an
exiting announcement released October 7, 2010, Blizzard has
announced that once again they have hit another major milestone. With
the World of Warcraft launch in China, and the rest of the player based
eagerly awaiting the much anticipated Cataclysm expansion, World of
Warcraft has finally managed to hit the 12 million subscriber mark.
However despite the continuing success of the game, Blizzard still
understands that in order to keep their fan base they must constantly
be looking for ways to make the game even better and more exciting.

"The support and
enthusiasm that gamers across the world continue to
show for World of Warcraft reaffirms our belief that it offers one of
the best entertainment values available today," said Mike Morhaime, CEO
and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. "We are as committed as ever
to taking the game to new heights, and we look forward to demonstrating
that with Cataclysm in December."

With this monumental achievement under their belts ,well before the
release of Cataclysm, this leaves us to wonder what new heights World
of Warcraft will reach in the coming months.  For more details
