4.0.1 put the Unholy tree back in the spotlight with some absolutely massive buffs to the Ghoul pet that will make a real impact on the class' playstyle and will make Unholy once again the go-to DPS tree for Death Knights.
There's no better way to put it than that the newly buffed DK Ghoul is absolutely insane. Using the new Shadow Infusion talent you can quickly get to 5 stacks of the buff (totalling 50% additional Ghoul damage) and then put your pet straight into its Dark Transformation mode.
