Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) has already recruited some top notch talent to voice DC Universe Online (DCUO). Mark Hamill (aka Luke Skywalker) will reprise his role as the Joker from Batman: The Animated Series and Batman: Arkham Asylum and his polar opposite, Kevin Conroy, will reprise his role as the Dark Knight, but SOE has pulled in a four more names to help add voice to the superhero-based MMOG. In a recent release, SOE announced that it has recruited the voices of Wil Wheaton (Star Trek: The Next Generation), Arleen Sorkin (Batman: The Animated Series), Corey Burton (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Batman: The Brave and the Bold) and Dwight Schultz (The A-Team, Star Trek: The Next Generation).

Wil Wheaton's early career involved movies such as Stand by Me, and Toy Soldiers. But he achieved Trekkie stardom for his portrayal of the young Wesley Crusher in Star Trek: The Next Generation. Wheaton will tackle the role of Robin.

Arleen Sorkin, who portrayed the Joker's girlfriend Harley Quinn in numerous animated episodes and the game Batman: Arkham Asylum, will once again lend her voice to the character.

Corey Burton has had numerous speaking parts in a number of video games and animated series such as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II - Sith Lords, Kingdom Hearts and countless animated series like the Transformers and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Burton will lend his voice to the character of the villain Brainiac.

Finally we come to Dwight Schultz, who may be best known for his role as the comical character of Murdoch in the original A-Team television series and as the timid Lt. Barclay in Star Trek: The Next Generation. But Schultz has also had a speaking role in numerous video games that include a high profile list of games like Mass Effect 1 and 2, Dragon Age: origins, God of War: Chains of Olympus, EverQuest II and several others. Schultz will lend his vocal talents to The Flash.

SOE has certainly expanded their pool of voice talent for DCUO. Now all we have to do is wait until next year to see how they put it all together.
