Trion Worlds has revealed three new Souls for their upcoming MMORPG, Rift: Planes of Telara. The new Souls: Stormcaller, Justicar and Warlord each come from different backgrounds and will offer players a variety of playstyles to choose from. New pages detailing each Soul have been posted to the official website and offer a breakdown of the strengths, weaknesses and lore for each Soul.

The Stormcaller is a mage that can channel the powers of wind and water on the battlefield. While their strength lies in the ability to weave air and water magic it is also their biggest weakness. In order to be effective, the Stormcaller must combine spells in order to reach their true potential devastation.

Healer fans will find the Justicar right up their alley. Justicars heal their allies from dealing damage in combat, but this too can be a limiting weakness as their ability to heal correlates with their ability to deal close proximity damage. That can be tricky from a healer perspective as in many traditional games if a healer gets too close they will often times be the one screaming for a rez.

The last of the unholy trio is the Warlord, a melee class that specializes in auras that can aid their allies and hinder their enemies. But the Warlord is vulnerable when isolated from their allies.

Additional details about all revealed classes can be found on the Rift: Planes of Telara website. Stay tuned and we'll update you with new Soul details when they're made available.
