Classic horror icons are getting their own MMOG.

SEE Virtual Worlds picked up the rights to create the Michael Jackson-based MMOG, Planet Michael, last month, but now it appears that the developer may be adding another title featuring some classic icons to their lineup. According to The Hollywood Reporter, MGM Universal has partnered with the developer to create a new MMOG featuring classic horror monster icons.

The game will allow players to become their own monster hunter version of the popular vampire slayer, Van Helsing. Some of the monsters already lined up to appear in the game include: the Mummy, the Wolfman, Dracula, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, the Hunchback of Notre Dame, the Phantom of the Opera and the Invisible Man. So this is certainly some good news for horror fans this Halloween
