World of Warcraft: Ghostcrawler Explains Stats in Latest Essay

Posted Fri, Dec 10, 2010 by Saia

You know, I’m quite liking the weekly essays posted Ghostcrawler, aka lead systems designer Greg Street, on the World of Warcraft community site. These posts feel more structured than the comments on the forums, more like essays and much more entertaining.

This week’s offering is called ‘Primary vs. Secondary Stats or: What Happened to All the Agi/Spirit Gear?’ and goes into depth about the recent changes in stats. Regardless of class or player, I admit, I’m finding these posts quickly becoming required reading for all WoW players. It’s a glimpse into the mind of Ghostcrawler as well as helping us to understand Azeroth from their side of the fence. Plus you get those little humourous anecdotes; this week’s explains that GC knows ‘how to tank the whale shark’! Good, because I wish he’d tell me!
