Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) has taken its share of shots since launch and last week's announcement that Square Enix had given the FFXIV team a shakedown and replaced its leadership could be enough to dampen any player's spirit about the game's future. So FFXIV players may have their spirits lifted a bit with the game's first December event, the Starlight Celebration.
