Age of Conan Web Series Begins Production

Posted Fri, Dec 17, 2010 by Martuk

We did our bit of comedy for Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures (AoC) quite a while back. But it appears that AoC is trying to bring in more laughs with its own new web series from "Robot Chicken" writer Mike Fasolo. The new series, "Age of Conan: Hyboria!," utilizes the AoC game engine and is a comedy series based on Funcom's Age of Conan MMOG. The series will use characters, locations and graphics from the game and given Fasolo's creative past, this should certainly be something to keep an eye on.

Joining Fasolo to lend his voice to the series is Comedian Harland Williams (Half Baked and Dumb and Dumber) and Dan Milano (Robot Chicken and Titan Maximus), who will also direct the first episode and do voice work. Paradox Entertainment Inc. will be responsible for production of the new series. Check out the official press release for more details.

In addition to the new series, Paradox Entertainment is also working with Millennium Films and Lionsgate to release Conan the Barbarian, starring Jason Momoa of Stargate Atlantis notoriety as our beefy hero. The new Conan movie will release in US theaters on August 19, 2011.
