I’m always keen to see new ways of playing World of Warcraft, even if half of them never catch on and the rest are seldom practical. I’m firmly of the believf that MMOs like WoW need a keyboard and mouse (or at the very least a joypad). That said, this latest video that’s been doing the rounds on the interwebs this week is certainly very interesting, especially if Santa brought you a Kinect for your Xbox 360 this Christmas.

The video, created by the University of Southern California Institute for Creative Technologies, showcases their new software tool, the Flexible Action and Articulated Skeleton Toolkit (FAAST). This free software allows gamers to play games using their Kinect and it’s quite impressive. Check out the video for yourself below. Are you going to give it a go?
