Runic Games' sleeper ARPG hit, Torchlight, is making its way to the Xbox 360. Torchlight launched in October 2009 for the PC and sold an estimated 750,000 copies worldwide. Through a publishing agreement with Microsoft, the Xbox 360 version of Torchlight is scheduled to release this spring as part of Microsoft's House Party lineup.

“We couldn’t be happier to bring Torchlight to Xbox LIVE Arcade,” says CEO Max Schaefer. “This is what the fans have been asking for. Torchlight for the Xbox 360 is a new way to experience a great game, and we’re thrilled to work with Microsoft to bring it to fruition.”

A sequel to Torchlight, Torchlight II, is currently in development and tentatively scheduled to release later this year. Check out the official press release for more details.
