It's time to dust off that spandex and wash that mask. Champions Online launches superheroes into the free-to-play market today with the launch of Free for All. The official website and game servers are down for maintenance this morning, but when they come back online at around 6:00am PT; players can join in for some free-to-play action.
Free Champions Online accounts aren't without their limitations. You'll be playing with an Archetype hero as opposed to a Core build and you can find out how these two differ and what you get for free in our exclusive interview with Champions Online Executive Producer Shannon Posniewski.
Update: The Free for All launch day patch notes have been posted.
