Get ready for some more rift fighting action. The sixth Rift beta event "Planar War" will kick off this Friday at 10:00am PST. The event is scheduled to run through Monday, February 7th at 10:00am PST. During the "Planar War" event, players that seal a rift have a chance at winning in-game prize packs and a shot at winning an Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 graphics card.

During Rift's fifth beta event, players logged over 2.4 million hours of gameplay. If you haven't gotten into Rift's beta yet, you can gain access to all remaining events by pre-ordering.

Trion Worlds today announced dates for the sixth Rift™ closed beta event, “Planar War.” The event is scheduled to begin at 10 AM PST Friday, February 4th and end at 10 AM PST Monday, February 7th. The excitement surrounding the game continues to grow as evidenced by last week’s “Battle of the Ascended” beta. Over the course of the four-day event, players logged 2.4 million hours in game, more than double the amount of time played in the previous event.
