So we’re still reeling from the big news that the Firelands will not be inWorld of Warcraft but will instead me deployed in 4.2 which, according to Zahrym will hit the PTR soon after 4.1 goes live.

Well Boubouille has been digging again and has posted a preview of the zone, including some beta screenshots and a basic map showing the layout. It’s still in the early stages, of course, but it makes me wonder how far into development the Big Giant Heads at Blizzard decided to shift the area into 4.2. That said, we now know it’s not just a raid zone but will also, like Tol Barad, offer dailies and other stuff to do suggesting even if you do the raid, there’s gonna be much more substance to the Firelands than we initially thought.
