Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures players will soon have two new level 80 instances to explore and plunder in the Imperial capital of Paikang in Khitai. Many players have been curious as to what awaits them in the new areas and this week MMORPG managed to corner Funcom and pump them for information. In a new preview of the Paikang District, we get to learn a bit more about the story, quests and gameplay of the new area.

The story of the new district revolves around two factions: Insurrection, whose goal is to overthrow the God-Emperor and the Dark Legion, the elite guards of the Emperor. The new instances will support a questline and repeatable quests linked to the Insurrection faction and come with shiny new rewards.

Quest wise, the instances will come with both story and repeatable quests that are linked to the Insurrection faction in Paikang. Those who have already completed the solo quest chain for this faction will be able to further explore the storyline behind the Insurrection and their struggle against the emperor.
