RIFT's 1.2 update arrives today adding a slew of new content and changes in the game's second huge content update since its March 1st launch. 1.2 adds the much requested appearance slot options for players to give their characters new and unique looks with cosmetic gear and items. Players will also get a new 10-man raid Sliver via a new Ascended Power, a Looking for Group tool, a 5th Role slot and quite a bit more.

1.2 also introduces more social networking options via RiftConnect. The new option tab will allow players to utilize Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Tumblr from inside the game. Crafters will also find new weekly crafting quests available involving new crafting rifts to earn those ever so elusive crafting plaques. Additionally, adventurers will also have a new content with a new Expert Rift, Auricore Forerunners, two new Raid Rifts and a ton of class changes.
