Players of Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) titles got a little bit of good news today after being shut out of their MMOs for almost two weeks. SOE today announced that it will begin a phased restoration of services following the suspension of its games and websites after discovering the personal details of its customers were compromised in an April cyber attack.
To help make things up to players, SOE is offering all subscribers 30 free days plus one day for each day of downtime, welcome back events for their games and 12 months of identity theft protection through Debix. Check out the official announcement for more details.
