Ten Ton Hammer - Taking MMO Gamers to the Next Level!

SOE Fan Faire kicked off tonight and as part of the festivities, SOE has revealed a new trailer for Planetside 2. Additionally, the official Planetside 2 website has received new updates with screenshots and wallpapers for each of the game's returning factions: the New Conglomerate, Terrain Republic and Vanu Sovereignty. Players can also sign up for the official newsletter.

Included in the update is a new FAQ that offers several new details about the upcoming Planetside sequel. Like its predecessor, Planetside 2 will include territorial battles between a massive number of players using air and ground vehicles. Players can advance their characters in the persistent online world through detailed skill trees and unlock new roles that can be switched between at will.

Additional details about the Planetside 2 beta will be forthcoming at a later date, but SOE is encouraging players that played Planetside in the past to ensure that their SOE account email and information is up to date.
