Ashes of History: A Strange AlliancePhase 2 was launched, rather unceremoniously, on Wednesday October 19th, bringing with it a couple new quests and opening up another tier of loot on the currency vendor. This will be the final questing phase, with phase 3 being the culminating phase where the rifts hit the fan.
Much like Phase 1 the quest line is kicked off with an attunement quest that has you running off to the blue stones from the Phase 1 attunement to gain more insight into whatÂs going on around Telara. It seems these massive crystals arenÂt totally inert, but are being used as a means of transport by some neÂer-do-wells Â specifically the Golden Maw and the Wanton who have a called a truce and become unlikely allies.
You will find these stones in the same location as those in the first attunment quest in Phase 1
Phase 2 also features a second part of the attunement that has you travel to a new location and interact with a formation of stones that has the aforementioned transitive properties. Depending on your level range you will be treated to a summoned volcano or something slightly more sinister.
Phase 2 has a new puzzle quest as
well. This time instead of playing back a melody, you are charged with
combining several different colors of stones to create the inscribed
version that the quest NPC is asking for. See below for a spoiler Â and
always remember that yellow and blue makes green.
