Name Resets Coming to RIFT Next Week for Inactive Characters

Posted Fri, Oct 18, 2013 by Martuk

RIFT will undergo its server unification next week, but before that happens, some inactive players could lose their names if they don’t check in. On Wednesday, October 23rd, Trion will reset the names of inactive characters. Players that could be in danger of losing any of their names will be receiving an email with instructions on how to preserve them before next week.

On Wednesday, October 23rd we will be resetting the names of inactive characters. If one of your characters is marked as inactive, you will be receiving an email from us with instruction on how to preserve your name. You will need to take action and log into each inactive character before October 23rd when the reset happens to ensure your characters keep their names!

With regional unification around the corner, we’re freeing up character names for players headed to new shards. Act now to preserve your names, and enjoy the rush of activity as everyone arrives!
