Richard “Lord British” Garriott recently delivered the six-month video update for Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues. The latest video update offers a fly-through look at many of the player-housing options offered within the game. After the tour, Garriott peels off for a look at some of the more unique options such as the Wizard Tower and Lord’s House before heading out to preview some of the various areas of the game. Garriott also offers a brief preview of the crafting system and some of the quests that players can undertake in their adventures.

The video will feel quite familiar to players that were fans of Garriott's earlier work on classic the Ultima series. Check it out below and let us know what you think.

The first episode of the Shroud of the Avatar adventure is scheduled to release around the end of 2014 on PC, Mac, and Linux. You can visit the Shroud of the Avatar website to become a backer.
