Star Citizen 24-Hour Live Stream Starts Today

Posted Fri, Jun 28, 2013 by Martuk

Star Citizen is still over a year from launch and to say that it’s already been a huge success would be an understatement. Thus far Wing Commander creator and Star Citizen visionary Chris Roberts has already managed to garner over $11 million in donations from fans. Earlier this week we reported that the crowdfunding efforts had broken $10 million, so Star Citizen is still pushing forward.

The Star Citizen website recently underwent a revamp and to celebrate the new changes, Chris Roberts and the Star Citizen crew are hosting a 24-hour live stream today to make a few announcements and reveal new content for the game along with visits from several well-known gaming industry luminaries. Cameras will be streaming from the Cloud Imperium Games offices located in Austin and Santa Monica and you can watch it all right now on the newly revamped Star Citizen website.
