Michael Dorn to Reprise Role of Worf in Star Trek Online

Posted Wed, Oct 30, 2013 by Martuk

While Michael Dorn hasn’t been successful in having CBS adopt his idea for a Worf-based Star Trek series, he’s getting what may be the next best thing. Dorn will be making a guest appearance in the upcoming Star Trek Online (STO) Feature Episode, Sphere of Influence, in which he will reprise his role as Worf, the klingon warrior who formerly served aboard the USS Enterprise D & E variants in Star Trek The Next Generation as well as on the space station in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Dorn recently spoke with StarTrek.com to discuss his upcoming appearance in STO as well as what he’s working on next.

DORN: Worf has learned he does not have to choose. Even if the writers on STO have him making statements to the contrary, I feel he feels that life is a journey and this is just a stop along the way. And maybe next year he’ll make a different choice and rejoin the Federation. You never know with Worf.

STO players of level 10 or higher can hail D’Tan starting Thursday, October 31, 2013 for a new mission to aid in the restoration of the Iconian Gateway. Check out the video via GameTrailers below for a peek.
