BioWare Deploys SWTOR's Ancient Hypergate Update

It’s patch day once again for Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR). Update 1.6: Ancient Hypergate is now live, adding new Heroic space missions, the Ancient Hypergate PvP warzone and a number of tweaks and item changes. The update arrives just in time for the holidays and the first anniversary of SWTOR on December 20th. To celebrate the occasion, BioWare is giving out a free stack of faction-based fireworks to players and asking them to submit screenshots of their anniversary celebration moments.

As a “sort of” holiday gesture to Life Day, BioWare has added a number of new Life Day items to the Cartel Marketplace. Unfortunately, unlike many other games, SWTOR will not be holding any sort of festive in-game events for Life Day or anything else really, so don’t expect to log in to any special holiday content. While the lack of any festive new content is disappointing, the fact that they chose not to include certain Life Day aspects might be a good thing.

In any case, you’ll have a new warzone, Heroic space missions and a shiny stack of colorful fireworks to keep you occupied for a while. Check out the 1.6 patch notes for all the latest changes.

I really don't understand racism in the real world. People are what people are, regardless of skin pigmentation or where their ancestors came from. There's really only one real-world race - the Human Race - and I loathe everyone equally.
