TERA concluded its final closed beta test this weekend and now it’s on to open beta. TERA’s open beta gets underway on April 20th and it comes with some perks for players that take part. Pre-order players will get access to the open beta servers a day before everyone else on April 19th, giving them a chance to reserve their character names early. Those characters will also persist through the open beta and into the official launch.

The open beta build comes with a new hefty 4.3 GB update loaded with new launch features. Open beta will conclude on April 23rd followed by the head start on April 28th and the official TERA launch on May 1st. You can get access to the open beta by pre-ordering TERA or signing up via the official website. Additional details about TERA's launch and server list can be found on the TERA Launch page.
