If you dropped by The Repopulation booth at PAX Prime this weekend, you may have gotten the lowdown on the latest content additions for the ongoing alpha. If not, there’s a hefty dose of new patch notes in the August update to tell you all about it. The Area and World event system will track events on a local and world scale to tie together Dens, Missions, Spawns, and Engagements in one persistent system.

Several other systems are also getting tweaked, reworked, improved, or new additions added. Abilities, harvesting and crafting have undergone more changes, housing received new happiness buildings with the addition of an Outdoor Marketplace, Power Generators, Solar Panels, Wind Generators, and a Landing Pad. Read all about it in this week’s update.

The devs have also promised a new video that will be coming later this week so stay tuned.
