Funcoms Facebook social game based on The Secret World that launched yesterday with The Secret War has made Funcom a victim of its own success. The Secret War was recently brought down after Facebook requested that Funcom make some adjustments after the activity reached higher than expected levels of sharing and recruitment.

As many of you already know, The Secret War is currently unavailable.
Due to significantly higher levels of recruitment and sharing than were originally expected, we have been asked by Facebook to make some adjustments and improvements. Don't worry! It will be back up as soon as we are done with the changes. We'll keep you updated as everything progresses.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this is causing, and thank you for your patience and understanding!
There is currently no ETA on when The Secret War will return, so stay tuned and well update you when the game is back up and running.
