The Secret World Reveals New Video and Interview for Dragon Week

Posted Thu, Oct 20, 2011 by Martuk

The Dragon are considered to be the most mysterious and secretive of The Secret World’s three secret societies. As day 4 of Dragon Week continues, Funcom has released a new teaser video and interview with Creative Director Ragnar Tørnquist about the Dragon.

The interview focuses on the lore behind the Dragon and how they operate in the world to influence it through chaos. The Dragon may appear unpredictable, but there is always a method to their madness and an endgame goal in mind with each move. But Tørnquist points out that the Dragon are opportunistic and that could mean a number of things in a game like The Secret World.

The Dragon is a fierce enemy of demons…unless those demons serve their greater plan. The Dragon is nothing if not opportunistic, and if that means allying themselves with sworn enemies -- to serve the greater good, they are willing to make a pact with the devil.

The new Dragon teaser video follows the story of a Dragon recruit seen in earlier videos. The brief teaser tells a little of her story and how she came to be one of the Dragon. The teaser even includes the recipe for a Dragon Milkshake.
