Ten Ton Hammer - Taking MMO Gamers to the Next Level!

The Secret World is slated to launch early this year and Lead Designer Martin Bruusgaard recently took some time to chat with Cry Gaia Network to talk about some of the things we can expect to see in the game when it launches later this year.

Bruusgaard touches on a number of topics ranging from clothing appearances, which players can obtain in-game as rewards or in some cases through the cash shop and vendors for a unique appearance to cross-faction grouping to music and in-game events. Bruusgaard recollects an event from Anarchy Online, which something similar in The Secret World would undoubtedly be a welcome addition by many players.

“I remember an event from when I was playing Anarchy-Online (before I worked at Funcom), where the Dust Brigade (an NPC faction) suddenly started assassinating the biggest guild leaders on the server as a part of an event. I remember how the rumors started to spread and how it engaged a whole server, and I find stuff like that incredibly fun.”
