Vanguard Producer Harvey “Rahtiz” Burgess has posted a new Producer’s Letter to discuss the latest updates coming to the MMORPG. It’s been a while since the last Producer’s Letter update, about four months since the last one of substance to be exact, but this week Burgess delivered the first of what should be an ongoing series of communications with the community to talk about what’s in the works for Vanguard.
Vanguard has felt like it’s had an on-and-off relationship in terms of regular content over recent years with SOE making a bigger push for new content and revamps following the game's free-to-play conversion. In his latest update, Burgess discussed plans to further polish the game and improve the zone of Falgarholm to help improve the experience for the growing number of new players. The team also recently fixed 50 long-standing bugs and will be making changes to Pankhor Zhi as part of their long-term development plans. You can also expect to hear more about what the team is working on with the Cave of Wonder over the next few weeks.
As some may remember from previous Producer Letters, I mentioned that we were working on Pankor Zhi. This area has not been forgotten about but is definitely going to be a long-term project for us. I would rather let you all know that as soon as we realize it as well rather than to have you expecting it to come sooner than later. With this said, there has been mention of us working on Cave of Wonders. I am here to let you all know that this is definitely the case. In the upcoming weeks you’ll hear more about what we have planned for the area, as well as testing that we will definitely need help with. This area is going to be something we all think you’ll be excited with, no matter which sphere is your favorite.
